Jonathan Gioia
My name is Jonathan Gioia. I am the owner and head artist of Empire Tattoo. Since I was young, I developed a great interest in art. As time went on I became more interested in drawing photorealism. I have experience tattooing in a wide variety of styles, but I feel that my strengths lie in realism. Some of my favorite subjects include: portraits, landscape/animals, cartoons/anime, and anything else I can apply to my realistic style. Whatever the tattoo may be, I always put forth my best effort to create something unique and that flows with the body.
Matt Hurlburt
My name is Matt Hurlburt. I grew up drawing and painting ever since I was a young child. I became fascinated with Japanese martial arts, and the deep culture that encapsulates Japan. I moved to Japan to immerse myself in their culture. It was there I found Irezumi, the traditional art of tattooing, and fell in love. Since then, I have tattooed in Japan and the United States, and continue to hone my craft.
Tyler Reep
Hey, my name is Tyler Reep. My affinity for art started at an early age. I enjoy working with a variety of mediums, from pencil to watercolor and, most recently, oil paintings. As a teenager, I remember thinking that tattooing would be a great way to utilize my art skills. I've always loved realism, and over the years, have worked on developing my skillset. I'm passionate about classic movies and horror films, which I often depict in my paintings. I look forward to working with clients to bring their artistic visions to life!
